HYSTEROSCOPY

This encompasses any minor surgery to detect and correct problems of the uterus including polyps, fibroids, adhesions, a malformation of the uterus or abnormal (unexplained, heavy or lengthy) menstrual bleeding.  During operative hysteroscopy, a hysteroscope is inserted into the uterus through the vagina and dilated cervix. Saline is pumped through the scope to inflate the uterus and make it easier to examine and perform surgery.

“Dr. Ammar is a charismatic, confident and highly intelligent professional Dr. He is efficient and straight to the point.  I am still to this day overwhelmed with gratefulness by the compassionate care of the whole team that worked with Dr. Ammar who delivered my daughter Bella, who is now 3.”
